The Maine Street Summit Website Makeover Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is sponsored by Main Street Marketing LLC, 1619 Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55403, and Julia Michelle Agency LLC, 120 Chief’s Way, Suite 1, PMB 1096, Pensacola, FL 32507 (together, the “Sponsors”).
The Giveaway is offered in connection with the Maine Street Summit, a free virtual event for small business owners, hosted in Maine and open to everyone (the “Summit”). Anyone may attend the Summit, but only eligible entrants, as described below, may enter or win the Giveaway.
Eligibility
The Giveaway is open to individuals who, at the time of entry:
- are legal residents of the State of Maine;
- are at least 18 years old; and
- own or co-own a business with its principal place of business in Maine (an “Eligible Business”).
Employees, officers, and contractors of the Sponsors, Summit presenters, and the immediate family members and household members of each are not eligible. Only one prize will be awarded per Eligible Business.
Giveaway period
The Giveaway begins on October 21, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time and ends on November 11, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time (the “Giveaway Period”). Entries received outside the Giveaway Period will not be accepted. The Sponsors’ computer is the official timekeeping device for the Giveaway.
How to enter
To enter, register for the free Summit at www.mainestreetsummit.com during the Giveaway Period by completing the registration form with your first name, email address, and business name. Each completed registration by an eligible entrant receives one (1) entry. Registrations by people who are not eligible are welcome for the Summit but are not valid Giveaway entries.
Registering for the Summit is free. You are not required to attend the Summit, purchase anything, or agree to receive marketing messages from the Sponsors in order to enter or win. Optional questions on the registration form do not affect your chances of winning.
Bonus entries
After registering, you receive a personal share link. If you are eligible for the Giveaway, you earn one (1) bonus entry for each new person who registers for the Summit using your link during the Giveaway Period, up to a maximum of five (5) bonus entries per person. The new registrant does not need to be eligible for the Giveaway for their registration to count toward your bonus entries.
A registration counts toward a bonus entry only if it is a new registration by a different person who had not already registered. Registering yourself through your own link, registering again, or registering people who did not sign up themselves does not count. Sharing your link alone, without a resulting registration, does not earn a bonus entry. Email addresses that differ only by capitalization, a “+” tag, or (for Gmail) periods are treated as the same person.
Inviting others is optional and is not required to enter or win. Shares must comply with the terms of the platform used. This Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, or any other social platform.
Entry limits
Each person may receive a maximum of six (6) entries: one registration entry and up to five bonus entries. Entries made using multiple email addresses, identities, or automated means, or any attempt to obtain more entries than permitted, will be disqualified. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or submitted through any method other than those described in these rules are void.
Winner selection
One (1) potential winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period, on or about November 11, 2026, after the Giveaway Period ends. The drawing will be conducted by the Sponsors, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to the Giveaway. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Winner notification
The potential winner will be notified by email at the address provided at registration on or about November 11, 2026. The potential winner must respond by 12:00 p.m. Central Time (1:00 p.m. Eastern Time) on November 18, 2026 and may be required to sign and return a declaration of eligibility, liability release, and, where lawful, a publicity release.
If the potential winner cannot be reached, does not respond in time, does not return the required documents, or is found ineligible, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected from the remaining eligible entries.
The prize
One (1) winner will receive a Website Makeover consisting of:
- One (1) custom small business website of up to five (5) pages, designed and developed by Main Street Marketing, with a mobile-friendly design, clear calls to action, and basic search-engine optimization, plus one (1) year of website hosting.
- One (1) brand voice session with Julia Michelle Agency.
Approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the prize: $5,000. The actual value may vary based on the winner’s needs. No difference between the ARV and the actual value will be awarded.
Prize conditions
- The prize includes one (1) year of website hosting, starting when the website launches. Unless the Sponsors agree otherwise in writing, the prize does not include domain registration, hosting after the first year, e-commerce functionality, photography, third-party software or license fees, or ongoing maintenance after launch.
- The winner must begin the project within 30 days of being confirmed as the winner and must reasonably cooperate by providing content, feedback, and approvals. If the winner does not respond to project requests for 14 days, the Sponsors may treat the prize as fulfilled or forfeited.
- The prize is awarded to the winner’s Eligible Business, is not transferable, and has no cash value. No cash or other substitution is permitted, except that the Sponsors may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.
- The winner is responsible for all applicable taxes. The winner may receive an IRS Form 1099 for the ARV of the prize.
- The website and brand voice session are provided for lawful business purposes only. The Sponsors may decline to produce content they consider unlawful, misleading, or inappropriate.
General conditions
By entering, entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsors. The Sponsors may disqualify anyone who tampers with the entry process, violates these rules, or acts in a fraudulent or disruptive manner. If the Giveaway cannot run as planned because of technical failures, fraud, or any other cause beyond the Sponsors’ reasonable control, the Sponsors may cancel, modify, or suspend the Giveaway and, where appropriate, select a winner from eligible entries received before the event that required the action.
Release and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, by entering, entrants release the Sponsors and their owners, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, losses, or damages arising from participation in the Giveaway or the acceptance or use of the prize. The Sponsors are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries, or for technical errors of any kind.
Privacy
Information collected through Summit registration is used to administer the Summit and the Giveaway, including contacting entrants about the event and notifying the winner. See our Privacy Policy for more information. Entrants who check the optional box on the registration form may also hear from Main Street Marketing about website services.
Governing law
The Giveaway is governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. Any dispute arising from the Giveaway will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, in the state or federal courts located in Hennepin County, Minnesota.
